In the Energies series, Moon Kwan Park explores the energetic dimension of thought. Wave-like incised lines open the painted surface towards what lies beneath, beginning to oscillate and vibrate like energy in motion.
The characteristic grid structures are formed by thousands of small impressed rectangles that refract light across the surface, creating a vivid, vibrating field.
CalliGraffiti verbindet ostasiatische Scriptkultur mit der expressiven Energy des westlichen Graffiti. Großzügige, gestische Pinsellinien auf textilem Untergrund — Script als Energyform, Kalligraphie als körperlicher Ausdruck.
Die Series entstand parallel zur Energies-Reihe und zeigt den artist als „Spieler": jedes Bild ein neues Spielfeld, jeder Strich im Here and Now.
The Gedanken series forms the contemplative heart of the artist’s work. Minimal compositions of highly reduced signs—an infinity symbol, a Korean character, a rectangle—stand in contrast to intense, richly textured backgrounds.
Jedes Werk trägt einen philosophisch aufgeladenen Titel: Here and Now, Infinity, GrenzWERTig. Das Bewusstsein als einzige Konstante des Seins.

Die Yin/Yang-Series erforscht Dualitäten: hell/dunkel, leer/voll, fließend/fest. Zwei Felder teilen die Leinwand — manchmal durch eine scharfe Linie, manchmal durch einen fließenden Übergang. Ein Gleichgewicht, das nie statisch ist.
Die neueste Werkserie „Wege" markiert eine Entwicklung hin zur reinen Energy: keine Script, keine signs mehr — nur Farbe, Licht und movement. Die Gitterstruktur verfeinert sich, das Licht bricht sich anders. Wege sind hier metaphorisch — Wege des Bewusstseins, Wege der Energy.
Die frühen works Moon Kwan Parks aus den Jahren 1994–1998 zeigen die Wurzeln seines Schaffens: organische Farbfelder, atmosphärische Landscapesräume, erste Erkundungen der Gedanken-Thematik. Noch ohne character, aber schon mit dem charakteristischen Farbenergismus — Oil on canvas in großen Formaten.
Entstanden in Karlsruhe, kurz nach dem Studium an der Staatlichen Akademie der Bildenden Künste. Meisterschüler von Prof. Klaus Arnold.
